This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
HAAAPPPYYYY B-DAAY, RICA-CHET!
As you can see, this is a present for my dear collab partner, Rica-chet, or you can call her Rica-san, SPICA, or Rica-chet. Tomorrow is her b-day(26 March), but I'll submit it now. Incase tomorrow I'll forgot. :P This is my 3rd wallpaper I made by myself, & 3 are made with Rica. There's a PLUS, I made something that Rica can't do. hehe, the gates. Alltough mine doesn't look too good. I putted up & mixed up afternoon color. The story is, There was an angel lying down the beach(Misuzu), and at that time, Haruko was walking down the beach. Because the angel looks very sad & lonely, Haruko decided to bring her home & talk with her. AIR is sad..I even cried when I watched it..Wings tutorial from Imanimetions.net(Shinta). I worked this for arround 6 hours, with breaks of course. Oh yeah, about the scan, I dfound it here at MT. It was soo beautifull.... XD Thanks for the one who's sharing it! XD At first I wnated to vector the bg but I thhink it's too hard...so I'll just make another bg. A SIMPLE one of course.
To Rica-chet: Sorry it's not Saiyuki. I forgot. lol. but still, Happy b-day! aiaiaiaiaiai! *Spongebob laugh*

Nice work! i love the colors, so soothing. i don't mind your gate, looks good enough to me. i feel you could've spread the floating feathers around abit more, not so clumped near the scan. but other than that i really like this wp. i think the best thing about it is that we're finally seeing a wall with other characters from the series. i don't know about the rest of you but i'm getting alittle tired of always seeing that blonde (sorry, i don't know her name).

The only thing I don't like though is the text placement. I don't like it going over the characters like that. If you moved it down into the grass I think it would look better. ^_^

Amazing Job on this! The wing looks really cool. Hmm I like the text placement over them. I think it looks okay. And I like the quote you have below it that looks good too! You did a great job on the grass... The sky looks nice, but I think you could do without the feathers... Just a suggestion or like chibicrystal said spread them out more. Hey! Nice work! I don't see any mistakes or something wrong in this wallie! I think it's really wonderful! The warm colors are fitting for the scans you used here. By the way, the scan is so cute! Bringing home a lost angel is just right for this wallie. The fence is nicely done as well. Great job.
I really like the whole feather N' wings on this wall. but the font doesn't fit on it coz of the white feather effection to the wall! But the rest are AWESOME!!
