This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
BLEEHHH x.x i got a major headache and can't think straight.. so let's just keep it short. vector'd a sort of japanese art that i found on google x.x maybe you can call this an ukiyo-e, mehh not really sure. and desperately made a background that i don't even know exactly 'what' @w@
well, thanks for viewing i hope you all can spare me for this wallpaper >~< don't be too harsh on your critics D: LOL
It's so pretty! It reminds me of my paper dolls that I have.
The patterns you used look really pretty with the vector! The BG look nice too!
I'm adding to my fav!
Oh wow, this is really beautiful, nice use of pattern! The idea behind this is really cool...my only complaint would be that the red pattern is a teeny bit blurry, but it doesn't really matter that much :)
As always great job Sayukalove you have a flair for art wallpapers. I love the patterns and the colors draw you into the picture. The lady completes it. Excellent!
Whoa, this wallpaper is too damn good
i like pattern wallpapers, need more of them
its pretty unique, not much japanese original art
the background looks fine, not overdoing it, just simple >_=
Nice, but it seems a bit unfinished. A bit more complexity, esspecially for the edges, could have improved the overall aspect. And some playing with the blur effect and the darken/multiply mode of layers could have added some substance to some of the textures. I love the color of the background. The hair of the girl could be really detailed, so that it catches the eye and focuses the attention on it. Maybe the same could go for her face, too. Still, nice concept. Keep up
A highly artistic wallpaper, who does not love the style of Ukiyoe for wallpaper eh? the wonderful feeling of Japanese classics, the use of textures greatly distinguish this wallpaper from the rest of the crowd, what is even more impressing is the whole idea and presentation of it all. You can never go wrong with the whole idea. I think you have made quite the impression with this wallpaper and it is worthy of faving .
