After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
BG done with brushes, with a scan was and a total pain to extract.
It was the hair and the water. It was hard to tell what was the BG and what was the water on the scan, it blended way too much, so I hope it looks okay.
Tried to be different with the text... not with how it was done, but what the text actually is. Kind of a promise I made to a friend of mine on CC forums, who dislikes walls with the character name/or the series title on it. So I put the name of the wall "Ningyo Hime" and two lines from the song, underneath.
Out of the three you just submitted this one is my favorite. i really like the bg but it's the scan of chi that i absolutely LOVE! she's just too cute and i really like all the detail. i'm with kiffy on the text (the main title), i feel that there's just so many other types of font that would've suited this better. but this is still a super sweet wp! :)

Simply Beautiful...the scan is stunning..I love the colors and the background is supurbly done...I can see where the water might get confusing in the midst of creating the wall but you worked it out fine^^ Gotta love Chobits..Chi is a cute character but now in this scan she looks all grown up and I love how this wall captures that^^ A+ Thanks for sharing it (*^_^*)

This is so incredibly nice. i love it. the blue background is amazing. the girl (i forget her name =[) is so pretty. the only thing id change in this wall is the text, its like to bold for the wall, it needs to look more graceful looking, if that makes sense at all. welll anyways..nice job.
First, I want to say that this is a good way and you've done a good job working with this kind of scan (which I find is a pain and why I think most people avoid these kind of scans).
Second, just as an artistic note here....when you are looking at things through water, the object bends because light is distorted. So the hair and fabric should be slightly warped to the right or left and should not match up with the lines above the water. A rough and simply way to do it would be to cut your scan at the water level, and slightly move that part to the left or right...and enlarge it slightly. It may look a little goofy at first, but you're looking through water afterall.
