This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

[EDIT] I didnt save the PSD so I was unable to edit the black band effectively, but will take your criticism into effect when next I make a wallpaper, as for the texture, it wasnt the quality, its because of the scans and I dont know how to get rid of it save for tracing everything in Illustrator, which I dont have :( but I did edit the text so that it is appropriately spelled.
Lol, so busy ;P i actually like the compositon and the colors, it's a nice wp. i'm not really liking the "texture" you put over the whole wall though, kinda makes it look it's poor quality. you obviously did it on purpose, i'm just thinking there's other textures out there that might've been more suiting. but that's not a big deal, this is still an awesome wp! ;)

:) The craziness definitely is very FLCL; I wish the black band on the bottom was better integrated into the wall as a whole, and I gotta echo all the people above who thinks that the texture makes the wall look low quality. You also put two i's in the "it's" in your caption... ^^;;
I agree with everyone else ^o~ The craziness and the wallpaper is all busy is definetly FLCL goes well with the scans, and I like what you've done and all the overlappying and playing about with the Opacity. ^.~ The colours of the wallpaper is cool ^.~ Everything pretty much goes nicely together like a puzzle ^O^
Hmm..well i dont like the texture/effect you used in the pictures on top. the writingis cute though. it would look better if the pictures looked smoother./
This whole concept that you have done with this wall is just awsome! I love it! And it was the first one that caught my attention. What I like the most about this is how well the colors went with grey and how the brush strokes were used. ^_^ Keep it up! *fav*<---You definitly deserve it! ^_^

I've always traced stuff in photoshop; so that's no excuse! >_< Just kidding! Personally I actually like the texture, though I think what you should have done is to add the same texture to the black bar to keep it consistent. The color and the mixed image feets the anime's theme that's for sure! Well done wallpaper!
