Originally it was created for a Bleach contest at animegalleries (not that I've seen Bleach). Long story short, basic filterwhored scenic after lotsa texture changes, lightning/scan adjustments, painting over the stock, etc became what you see now.
This wall wouldn't be as it now without aibuster & KorganoS, so thanks to them \o/

You did a fantastic job on this wallpaper, nice texturing, layering, colors, tone, scan, and background.
It has depth and warmth, but overall, it's simple and easy on the eyes.

Ichigo looks angry in this wallpaper. I love it none the less. He always has that super sexy scowl on his face, it is almost hard not to love him the way I do.
What I like best about this wallpaper is how the sunsets just right on the right hand corner of the wallpaper. It makes things looks faded, dark but light at the same time. That beautiful sunset that seems to haunt Ichigo and Rukia all the time. You did a really amazing job with this one. Keep up the good work =)
You know, what made me want to comment on this wallpaper is just the sheer awesomeness I feel from it, the really painting it gives me is just fantastic, you painted the whole thing like no other, the simple and cleanliness of the vector, the sandy background, the feeling of the whole desert scene rushing by, the feeling of togetherness of the character that matches the background perfectly.
I can see why this is highlighted in MT, and it is great, I think you done really well with this one.
I love the background with the dessert scene. It looks great with the stock.The blending of the character with the background looks good.It's only missing one thing.Some text. The whole wallpaper just seems incomplete without it.So maybe you can add some text later. Still a great wallpaper anyway. ^_^
