My first i-pod stylized wall, I was inspired by the somewhat recent Bleach wall Soul Music for this one. I used Illustrator to vector Natsuki and redesign her swimsuit to better fit the sillouhette and created some patterns and screen tones for some textural effects, as well as a "icy" brushed grunge back ground, And finally the text.

EDIT: several have mentioned that it doesn't match a typical i-pod commercial, THIS IS AN ABSTRACTION AND STYLIZED IDEA REVOLVING AROUND THE TRADITIONAL i-pod STYLE! you would know that if you had seen the wall I mentioned was the inspiration for this one.

Most IPOD walls fails as a matter of being simplistic degenerating wallpapers that carry no significant design or effort, this one however, much like Boogy's Rukia Ipod wallpaper is really cool, love that pattern and best of all, you even gave the shilloette form and shape by adding a some kinda outline to the legs and arms which makes it perfect and cool. A wonderful work and redefines IPOD walling culture.
I do not care what everyone thinks about this piece, I like just the way it is. The outline of Natsuki's swimsuit and hair gaves it an interesting and unique look and feel to it, opposed to the common I-pod walls. If you made it all black it would look like an inkblot test to me, which I am glad you did not. Keep up the work and keep 'em coming.
I only like a few iPod style based wallpapers and this one is another good one.
I see some lements from the Soul Music wallpaper indeed and especially in the patterns of the chair and the clothes.
But that makes this wallpaper so nice, it's serene and trendy at the same time with the patterns.
You did a good job too on the background with all the brush strokes and the name shaped in it.
But it would have been better if you didn't used the - in i-Nat, but iNat, just like iPod. =)
Lol that is creative --> fairly good use of design on the character and background but some elements are lacking - however, it is a fairly good wallapaper overall; keep up the good work
