As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!
@BCB Enough to have the gist of you two minxes, but nothing deeper. @$Sashi How are you tonight? @~Loleta So catchy, I always loved it. Leah is great! Long Dream is great too.
Nothing much (although, it feels like I'm forgetting something). Anyways, I'm listening to "Calling" from T.W.E.W.Y, and thinking up a poem for my group. I'm becoming worried, though. I don't like working on poems out of work. I want to write poems out of
This is basically a remix of my first REC-Wallpaper. I changed the colour of her clothes, reworked the headphone-wire and her right eyebrow (thanks to flyindreams for the notice) and made a new background -- this time more simple, but still with style.
[EDIT 22.04.2006] I brightened the background a little bit, moved Aka a bit up and made the grid's transition smoother.
Hmm, the idea is pretty cool
maybe it a bit oversimplified... not much goin on
the vector aint bad, but not top-notch... that wouldnt be a problem generally, but a wall consisting of a low quantity of elements should make it up with quality
something tells me that the ponytail should be there completely, but thats just a feelling
Very cool. I love it :D It IS simple, but it has got that 'magic' touch. What more? The vector... hmm... I've seen better. No, it's not bad, but it could've been better. Really.
I actually like this version better than the original..:)
I like the vectoring and how you re-designed the character, and also the bluish-gray background.
My only thing is that the transition from the grided-gray to solid-gray is not so smooth.
For some reason it looks really abrupt to me..@_@
I actually would like it better without the grid, but that's just my personal opinion.
I also like the lighter bluish-gray eclipses around the girl (I forgot her name o_O;;)...but the grid...@_@;;;;;;
(Any reason why the right eclipse is closer to the grid than the left?)
Ok, other than that, the wall looks simple and stylish, like you said:) Good Job~!
Id have to agree with wat maddeath said, theres just not much going on
the design needs some work, its very basic for just grid patterns
i think the vector is pretty good, its not that bad
and just bad balance overall... maybe lose the grid...
other than that, its a ok wallpaper... nice work! =_=
Really nice, clean composition. It's got style, that's for sure ^^ I think I'd have gone with a slightly lighter background color though, maybe with a little hint of color? That's probably just a personal preference though. Anyway, it's a good wallpaper and I like it, thanks for sharing ^_^
The simplicity in your wallpaper is the better feature in this job. You attempt demontrate, perharps, the expression in the face of the character. I like it too. Continue showing this points in your jobs, and congratulations!
Like the wall but there are some evil jpeg artifacts from the conversion :( Got the .PNG somewhere? :) And you got yourself a +fav btw, love simple walls and this one does the trick!
