DAMNIT! This thing was hard. XD But I appreciate vectoring a little more now. The scan is a vectored manga scan. The shading was done with blending modes and gradients. The scan had no shins or feet, so I snatched the legs of something else and re-drew the Converse with some help from sxc.hu. The buildings are made from scratch, save the window's reflections, which are textures and a cloud stock. Everything else, hand drawn and painted, rain included. The text is from Billie Holiday's Come Rain or Come Shine. Good song, you should try it.

Oh, and I have no idea what relation GMT has to me, but I hope you'll still take this Tama!

The house in the center of the wall looks a bit out of perspective, not sure, maybe it's just my eyes. @_@" But I love the rain effects and the clouds at the background.

Wow amazing wall. I read your description and to think that the buidlings were hand made, that just owns. (Yay for vectoring xD) What i found really impressive though it when i d/l the wall. Its not till then did i see the text in chalk wrote along on the edge of the building. I was in shock, and found is really amazing. Awesome wall. well-done.^^

I love the creative factor and the attention to detail, but theres no doubt that the prespective is slightly messed up and the wall could be much better.

Not that its really relevant to the wall, haruhi is absolute comedic genius!
anyways really like how you did some effects, like the chalk and rain coming down on the buildingd alot. only probs i have with it overall is the character is alot more saturated and bright then the bg. its probably intentional im guessing but it looks a little wierd to me. either way, its a damn fine wall

hehe...buildings and perspective...hm...i have no idea about that xD the only thing that pops up at me is that the building he's standing on is very long xD
him and the building he stands on is so clean and everything's so...hard...stricto_O..i'm bad with words xD
and then other buildings have textures and stuff =x
starting from manga scan's hard =O

I agree about the texturings... and about the lighting, the only object that got lighting is the character and the other objects are kinda...lacking ... ayway. this is a nice work.

Nice wall, the bg is amazing and i really like the "chalk" writing. but it kinda seems like all the lines on the scan are jagged, maybe smooth that up alittle ;P

Haha, the rain came out pretty well after all. My ONLY crit (well, more of a personal preference actaully) on the wall are the clouds. Some parts are too defined for my liking. Softening some parts would make it win. But the converse that looks alot like the trainers I'm wearing make it win, anyway. So good job. ;O

I really like how creative you were with this wallpaper. The shading, the details of the rain, and the how well detailed the buildings are just wonderful. Great use of colours but the scale size of kyon could be a bit taller. But good job on the wallpaper.
