I love Clover, and I think Oruha is beautiful/sexy. I'm rambling to remind myself why I chose to torture myself by vectoring ANOTHER Clover manga page. I remember once crap and I were talking about who we thought were the hottest female manga characters. I think I ultimately ended up listing Oruha as one of them. Granted a lot of it probably comes from the fact that she's having sex with Kazuhiko every 5-10 pages? Regardless I think she's one of Clamp's most mysterious, alluring characters to date. And Clover is just a beautiful manga series, period.
...I get the feeling that I am so going to come back to this descrip later and make it more PG. Anyways, Oruha vectored off this manga page; I looked at this manga page for bg reference but it ended up being useless since the perspective was wrong, so I ended up drawing most of the background from scratch, including fugly rain drip outlines on windows, which I drew myself but looked at another manga page for rough referencing. Fun. *dies* Houses are photomaniped off a picture from Stock.XCHNG.
I feel a bit conflicted about the text, so you can find the textless version of the wall at pixel ellipsis. This wall feels so *meh* to me =_= I'd much rather use this wall or this wall... *pimps* I dunno, what do you guys think?

I can do nothing but join the upcoming masses and love this piece. it is amazing...I specifically love the water..don't know why, but its unusual (in a good way). Needless to say the vector is awesome. the only thing is that, for me at least, the character seems too bright compared to the background... =\
Theres absolutely notihng wrong with the rain or the vector. its damn near perfect and thats no exageration. the only problem i have with it as i said before is, its so so dark i cant even make out most of the bg on my monitor. also maybe something like adding a flash of lightning in the sky that would partially give a blast of light in throuhg the windows could make the wall ALOT more dynamic. lastly im not too fond of the text either but all in all, this wall kicks absolute ass!
0.0 woow, finally I see 1600x1200! W00T! This is an awesome wallpaper! I don't think anything here is "fugly" - it's a very good wallpaper. Doesn't fit my color scheme preference, but it is very good for a red/dark color scheme, it's really nice. The drops on the windows are awesome, as well as all the other special effects and touches, they're really nice. I also like the contrast between the character and the background, which don't pop out at you and scream, and the text is a very nice color and fits the mood of the wallpaper as well. Awesome job, this is really beautiful! :D ^_^
Hm, the dark theme you used in this wallpaper was good. Not only that, but it gives this wallpaper a new sense of style. It has a Gothic and mysterious emotion to it. The textures you used are useful and the quality is high. Very nice array of black and red. It reflects back a lot to my memories. Keep the work and effort up!
Very nicely done, your choice of colors and the layout work really well together. The vector is very nicely put together and has a style I really enjoy. Overall, very nice job.

Hehe, the clouds were just something I threw in the air, I was more talking about the glowingness from the outside through the windows, kinda like what crap was speaking of... :P
At first I couldn't see the rain, but my flat panel has a weird vertical viewing angle, so I was able to see it by angling the screen. The water adhesing to the window maybe could be less defined and more organically thickened. But you did very well for trying to meet the deadline!

Wow, another one of your great walls! i saw it and i was like...thats soo cool! i've always liked the drak kinad coloured walls! its nice how the colours all match so well together, i can't see anything wrong with it at all. i love how you got the whole rain thing happening in the background!!

I do prefer the textless version myself because I like the way the background lighting stands out more without the text.
Speaking of which --- that's my favorite part of this wall and how it highlights the foreground character (which, by the way --- I'm lovin' your Clover walls from manga scans!) Excellent work on the lighting of the character to match as well. Great depth by using simple lighting techniques.
I like the subtle gradient for skin coloring as well.

OMG...do you know you have just made me very, very happy? ^_^ THAT is the most beautiful image of Oruha ever! Even though it was originally black and white I believe? And you have done such a good job in highlighting her joy when singing! I love this wallpaper! Must add to favourites!! Haven't seen a really extraordinary Clover wall for a while ^^

Wow that bkg is just awesome. I love the glassy, smooth texture of the wal. the rain running down the windows are done amazingly well and the scenery is beeautiful, and so are the colors!

Clover is one of my favorite manga, so... I love your wall, love, love! It's really nice athmosphere. All done great: Oruha vector, background... All. Definetly fav. My wallpaper for a week.
