First of all, I want to say this is my first attempt of using the coloring and smudging method. Anyway, I felt in love with the picture and I wanted to wall it. But, I notice boogiebro already
use this scan to make his wallpaper. (his it's so amazing)

Anyway...

I was very anxious to use this scan, I really wanted to make it my own.

What I did is recolor the sword and CG to make it blend more realistic. I also added
text on it. I found a font that was perfect for the scan.

Basically, my whole concept of this wallpaper was to make it, look like the original scan but with a different twist, I wanted it to look like a painting.

BTW..

I was to envious to tried something different. I play around with photoshop and tried a different approach. I decided to add mist surrounding the sword... Just to give it more detail. The background I vector it first then I recolor it and added details. So, I'm very happy with the results. You can comment I hope you enjoy this version of it.

Hmm wasn't there a wall like this before? btw i think it's kinda blurry but i like the background, especially the clouds...well i can't really compare with the one before...but overall this is a great wall...nice job!! ^^

Aw man, i tought i was gonna get first comment. ;_; oh well, 2nd comment ftw! and yes there seems to be a very similar one like this in the site, very similar background as well. nevertheless, nice job on it. Its a good series, btw, doesnt she have a new sword now? or ..is that the new one? kinda looks like it.

the same image of boogy-bro used, but different style.

Too dark, I think. But that makes the house on the back seemable.
and then... I dont think I have another comments. Coz it really blood+'s boogy-bro's look-a-like~

Not bad, the atmosphere of this wallpaper seems really gloomy cause of the dark tones and such. the clouds looks great and so does the rest of the scene. nice work overall ^^

I like the concept, but Im not very fond of the texture and I can't help but feeling that the "painting" style is nothing more than a smart blurr, more smudging is needed!

It looks abit blurry :/ but the background looks awesome! I like the idea.. I you should get rid of the texture though. It's not doing anything for this wall.

Omg i totallly love your wall, it just has so much of a difference from boogybro's and i think you did a great job with it!
I also love the text, the only thing is maybe make it a bit smaller.
And also, the blood on the sword, maybe it would be better if you just kept it to the sword and not make it go on the bg also, then it will seem like it's on the sword,

...should i fave it or not?...o.o...ok, i think i'll fave it if you make the changes...

My only real objection is the planet in the immediate background, which looks... wrong, somehow. The edge doesn't really look properly defined, I guess. Still, it looks wonderful. Another excellent wallpaper.

I like your version a lot better. I like the realism and the painted effect. I commented on boogybro's and the only thing I found wrong was that the sword looked too cartoony. You made it more like a painting which better suits the dramatic-styled scene. You're getting really good at making wallpapers and I still suck! ;_;
