This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Well this wall i made a long time ago with other name
and other look a bit. but i wanted to change him a bit.
the idea was to make a wallpaper that rukia in inside and outside the wall.
and i canr really say what i mean by that but no matter ^^"

I like the wall, though Rukia is a tad on the grey side.

The coloring of the background really caught my attention, it's a bit surreal and reminds me of some paintings I've seen. Also, good work fitting Rukia in against all those colors. Well done!

I like the background. I have to agree with the first post that Rukia does seem a bit pale... Though it's probally due to the background being so bright and colorful. I'm not sure if the contrast was done on purpose or un-intentional, but it is slightly noticable. The background itself is amazing, reminding me of a painting done with watercolors, and quite fits the pose and feel of the character. The image overall is quite well done and at least for me brings a smile of great memories of both the characters personality and the anime itself. Very well conveyed...

i also like what you did with the chara, quite interesting look
dont get the bg though, looks like painted on a wall next to her - real flat and the water (i hope it is water) is too even, thats quite rare
she just doesnt blend in too well
even throws a shadow on the bg... im in awe
the irrationality of this wall is amazing, so much that i kinda like it...

The idea for the background is quite original, although I don't think it suits the foreground image. Well, IMO.
