This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Marcella, if you're older that's just the reaction you can expect from your parents. They think it's okay for a xx-year-old to do such things but a older person should know better. That doesn't mean they love you less ;)
MarceLLa if your older then thats just the way it is.if u've done nothing wrong to ake them hate you then y would they?if your older then they know you can handle the situation
It was very clear from what I said earlier. That is concrete proof that they love her more than they wil ever love me. Hopefully they won't coz thinking of that creeps me out.
FULL VIEW PLEASE!! The thumb does not show 10% of it's beauty.
Ok,so first thing that can be said about this wall is,that it's full of "Firsts". My first try to create Digital Painting,my First CG,...lol
Now to the work itself:
Everything you can see in this wall is made from SCRATCH. :) The trees, the grass and the sky are made by Digital Painting,no special brushes, other than the Photoshop default ones.^_____^.
The light rays are from the moon. The only source of light,in the wall, anyway. The haze is the light of the moon being reflected and refracted by the surface of the water. The moon itself is not visible, being behind the right tree.
The back rocks were created from a rock texture (that made in Photoshop too) and then over the texture I applied different shapes of brushes, overpainting, and lots of blending modes.
The girl is from "Fujiwara Warawara".Yes,you guessed right, she is the CG.
Here is the original Scan:
As you can see,she is almost unrecognizable ;) Especially proud of the eyes :3
Don't know if it matters so much, but the .PSD file had some 239 layers >.<
lol,and,also,:
Thank you,all who commented (and those who commented and Fav-ed) on my first wall, for giving me the self-confidence and the power to improve myself :)Here is my thanks ;)
I think this wallpaper looks fine... but theres a lot of stuff going on on this wallpaper.. you can barely see the character because theres a lot of stuff onthe background... the trees are really blurry.. and you filtered them too much... i think the sky is not good enough.. you shouldve put more details on it.. not just putting stars wherever you feel like putting them... the white light rays look kinda weird... i thought the theme was like a "night theme" but then i saw the light rays.. im confused now.. lol... yea.. good job..

The background is trully spectacular. Very good work on this.
But I don't like the way the scan just fades into the background. You need to make the scan blend into the wallpaper as such that the character looks like she's there. Try fixing this and you'll be on to a winner!
What a wallpaper this one. Its full of colour, textures and its all blended together making it look like one realistic painting. The sky looks pretty plain and it doesn't really fit the wall much.
Still a fav+ for me

Yea, definitely the way the character fades into the background is a bit strange, and it looks like the tree is shooting out light rays ^^;; The stars also look a bit unnatural, I think having fewer stars with more variations in shapes and brightness could help, otherwise... impressive effort XD
Oh my, I can't believe you've found all your textures in Photoshop oO
It really looks like a real painting (except the character, but she's greatly incorporated).
Hey!
i see another great wallpaper by you again! ^^
i really love this one!
the scene is so mysterious... nice effects too.
except that maybe the girl's a little too big in it...
but overall it's a good one!
good job! keep up the good work!

Great work, as said the amount of blending invovled in this picture is what really amazes people...
its not easy to take something and give it such a rich and vibrate, but yet different feel to it..
