This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Another School Rumble wallpaper. After my first one, my interest in vectoring went up again. I decided to vector something more challenging, and so I chose this frame in the SR OP.
For the last wall, some asked, 'Why Tenma?' I've gotta say... WHY NOT TENMA? Tenma IS, after all, the main character! XD She's also really cute.
The vectoring took quite a long time. I had trouble with the hair (damn, her hair goes crazy when she twirls) and the bag. The bag was actually the hardest part, since it was cut off in the frame... I redrew it as well as I could, but it's still pretty crappy. If you're a hardcore fan, you'll notice that the bag is missing some details... but, well, too much details on the bag will draw attention away from Tenma, right? <_<
After I vectored it, I brought it into Photoshop and tried to think of a background. After a while, I decided to just go with the scene in the OP, where she is twirling around with her bag in the middle of the road (dangerous!)... After I had finished doing the road and sidewalk, the whole thing looked pretty dull. Everything was grey and grungey, which was far from what School Rumble is all about. I decided to make it more lively... so I added snow and light!
The most challenging thing doing the wallpaper was probably the snow. I never had experience doing snow at ALL, but at this angle, it was frustrating. I tried all kinds of things, and finally, I guess it looks acceptable now.
Other minor details include footprints... and pawprints too. XD
This wall is very pretty. The lighting is very nice, goes well with the snow. My gripe is that the scan doesn't suit the background at all. For one, Tenma is wearing her Summer uniform so there's a huge problem there. As mentioned by one other person, the colours are also too vibrant on the scan. If possible, I'd find a picture on Tenma in her winter uniform and then de-saturate the colours to match the BG.
Good work, nice colors although I'm having problems making out what shes standing on. But I guess overall its a really good wall.
I agree with this too. The paper is absolutely beautiful... but where are here feet? I'm pretty sure in the opening sequence of the anime they have Tenma twirling and you see her from a looking down perspective and you can see at least the tops of her shoes! Though in all fairness, I probably couldn't do much better!
I really like this picture, fits her personality just right, love the point of view of the shot. i'm adding this to my favorites :) wish that signature wasn't dead center in the middle though :P
La imagen es buena me gusta como se ve tenma pero sinceramente se me hace como muy simple le falta edicion o algo mas creativo no solo una textura detras y una delante de la imagen XD
