Hello peeps! aaah... a few days ago i woke up and i heard a voice saying: "it's time to climb a new step, Ed. it's time to achieve something bigger". At first i thought i'd blow up the resolution of my next wall but i quickly understood that it wasn't the right answer.

So i wen't for something... unusual. The idea came by watching Black Lagoon's opening. There are 2-3 seconds where you see a newspaper relating some events in the anime. My next wall was there :)
So yeah it all started with the newspaper thingie, and i remembered i wanted to make a desk for a long time, that was a great chance of doing it XD more than that, this wall also is for Anime Paper, and all the people that i met there and that i appreciate (they'll recognize themselves :D)

I began with the wood, consisting of several layers of wood blended together and some parts handmade (well these parts are hidden by the things laying on it now). That was quite easy to do.

After that i made the newspaper, carefully writing all the articles, trying to stick with what the real Roanapura News would say, and adding my personnal stuff (my tribute to AP is mainly there, anjoy reading it). Finding the right textures for the paper was a pain, but i eventually found what i wanted in Deviant and by scanning stuff myself. thanks to Asunder's brushes that i used here and there.This newspaperr is made VERY precisely, i even went through the pain of looking for Thai currency's name and value to put the price! Darn i love details.

Now came the flyer of the Black Lagoon company, it was quickly done using a scan of the manga, If it's someone's number in real life, i deeply apologize. Well don't try to call.

My fav part was the mail from Revi and Roberta, i thought for one hour "what can this damn biatch say in a mail?" i guess i found the right thing XD Look at the glass stain on the mail, she's such a drunkard lol
The picture of her is a scan i found after HOURS of searching thru the internet :p used a stock for the enveloppe and gave the "ripped open" style at the last minute XD

Added the notepad in upper left corner (it's a stock with several filters and anf some re-cg) and wrote what would be counts on it, and a bad smiley so signify that money isn't good this month :(

The cut photography of Balalaïka is from volume 3 cover, and scissors next to it come from Deviant, a nice stock photo (happily people take such useless stock photo XD)

The pen is a stock from Stock Xchange, that i reworked to have the right look. The note is... erm... i didn't know what to write, so i think that since it's Dutch who's supposed to have written it, that's what he would note as a reminder (poor Rock...)

I've been looking forever on the net to find a nice ciggie box to eventually scan one of my packs :p i hope it looks alright and blends well with the wall :3 I KNOW dutch doesn't smoke Camels, but guess what: the ciggies he smokes don't actually exists, and i love Camels, so shaddap x_x

well, that's pretty much all, added some more stains and shadows on the newspaper last minute thanks to Elfe-Noire43, and... there we go :D

this is surely NOT a wall designed to be on a desktop, i think it might distract a bit too much :p well, it's up to you :)

Ok guys you want TEXTURE? here comes TEXTURE! and BADASS TEXTURE more than that. used my scanner to get it, so enjoy. And since there are no good wall of the 11342 without a gun, here is the Taurus Raging Bull, the gun of Dutch, a gun that doesnt kick asses, a gun that sends asses to oblivion XD
