As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Ah! My first wallpaper! Hellsing is one of my favorite manga series and I've always wanted a cleaner version of this shot of Alucard. Working the image from the scan I had took a lot of work, and I need to get better with the pen tool in photoshop, but I am rather satisfied with the results. Once I had the image I decided that it would make a really cool wall - I much prefer simple walls as opposed to those with lots of snazzy sparkly stuff and this is what I ended up with.
Excellent work. My only suggestion to this one is purely on an experimental level. Have you tried adding a hole through the body. Dont know if it will add to or detract from the design but it'd be neat to see how it works out.

I love how this is so simple, and still gets the point across. My only bug is that it seems alittle plain above the text, maybe you could drag the shape up a bit by adding the bats from the top floating away from each letter.
Good sense of design here. I do have one small qualm, though. The coloration of the eye and mouth is not that well done. The colors don't look blended cleanly. Also, the shine on the eye is awfuly jagged.

Ah! My first wallpaper!
