This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I think this show deserves a few more good wallpapers because it is so awesome. This one is complete with a quote from Noein himself asking Haruka a question. I took a real picture and tried to make it fit the quote and the series. Hope you like it :)

Interesting wall for a first timer. I see you vector the scan and add a pretty good background to fit the scan. Its fairly good and i'm looking forward to see more of your work

The basic idea is good but the execution is a bit strange. You know, the perspective isn't right at all (while we are looking down on the street from a higher place we are looking at Haruka as if we were frogs). That's why she looks she was about to fall.
Well, but the colours and the concept itself is good. The street also carries a symbolic meaning.
Yeah! Noein deserves more awesome wallpapers like these. This scan is pretty well extracted and fits the overall wallpaper (and the quote) pretty well. I like the way you put it all together. However the coloring of the background is (probably on purpose but still) kinda strange.
Other than that - definitely a nice wallpaper! :)
P.S.: I am working on a noein wallpaper myself but since I decided to vector trace a lot there ... it probably will take its time. And until then - whenever I feel like having a noein wall on - I will put this one (sorry to all the other noein wall artists - but the other walls are just boring). Well done!

This is a reallly interesting wall no matter what, because it's a noein wall and yes this series definitely needs more attention. Where was that background from?

Awesome wall. the only thing is the right side lettering, "or is this just an illusion?", its kinda hard to see. i see where you changed the colors to make it readable; and im guessing you didnt want it to stand out too much, but its just too dull (the colors). but yeah other than that, NICE
