Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

The Long cover of that huge and black cloud seems to gobble up the earth generally
Amazing! nice choice of shades there to go build that darkness up. Like how you used a garden with high gates and the odd assorment of accessories like the pot of plant to create your atmosphere. Speaking of the pot plant, that's a pretty nice design you put on it. Sure adds to the effect. Great stuff to say the least.

I love the colours and this enchanting feeling the wallpaper gives. The blending could have been a bit better imo but the wallpaper is great as it is :)
Cool a Touhou wall. Really cool, I love the whole dark feeling of it. Also good job not putting text on it. Not that it's a bad thing, well to me it is but that's because i hate text, lol. Nice wall, Keep it up!
I love the atmosphere.. But maybe you should add like a stream of light running through the gates and some highlights to the character. That way it wont look that the bg is overpowering the character. Just my opinion :p

I love the attention to detail, especially in the sky. the lighting, as well as the soft shadows are magnificent, an EXCELLENT dark wallpaper, incredible piece of work.
