This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I made it mainly like the last one, but this scan had more words on it so I spent more time on the scan. Lots of layers and many types of brushes. I really like how it came out and yet again I like the text, and how I edited it. If your wondering about the title, Cloud was actually a puppet in the video game. He was lost and thought of everything as a other or a something. He didn't realize he was much more and had friends who cared about him. When Spehiroth killed Aeris(saddest thing in the whole world) he kinda got some sense knocked into. And he strived to kill sephiroth, so I hope you like my walls.

The text can also go along with the soldier-boy background of his: those who are commanded/take orders/controlled don't always know what to do when they have a chance to act of their own accord. *adds to favorites*

I love the color gray. It gives everything tons of feeling. In your case it gives tons and tons of feeling. Cloud's pose is perfect, and the words match. I like it.

I love the white foggy effect you used. More of the "introspection of a hero" we have grown to love from our man CS.
Also, where you have placed cloud and the text respectively truly works. I don't want to say it frames him, but it's rather pleasing to the eye.
