Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
About the wall:
It's rather plain, I know.
Well, originally I had a wooden border around the wall (since the wall is a "painting", which is why the title is scribbled on the painting), but it looked kinda funky, so I removed it. I hate my water. It's definately no Phamthuha-looking water and I really wanna... punch it >=(
Air was such a strange anime, I had difficulty thinking up a poem for the contest. I tried making one up pretending that I had never seen Air, but that didn't work.
Time: about 5 hours

Wow, i remember i attempted an air wall but failed. This is such a nice wallpaper and reminds me of summer instantly. The texture adds to the effect and it really is a nice piece.
Feels like one of the scenes from the opening so it's as lovely as that. It's not simple at all, makes me want to hightail it back to the beach :( anyway it's a great job~
