As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Yep :) should be fun, when I first heard about the contest I was thinking it was taking a full color scan and vectoring it to a gray scale or something which sounds fun too :)

It always irked me that two of my oldest walls weren't in 1600x1200. Not that my res is that big, but I think it might be one day XD In any case, this was my second ever wall; I melded this this and this scan together and re-CGd away... this was before I discovered the pen tool, so I remember it being a huge pain in the ass at the time. Here's the full rant on MT. I reworked this wall too many times for its own good, I think.

It's definitely always strange to look back at old walls, but somehow this one re-grew on me. That and I'm psyching myself up for Tsubasa season 2... I've downloaded a whole bunch of episodes but haven't started watching it yet >_< You can't be a Clamp fan and not love Tsubasa, so... <3 emoticon

Even though the series somehow makes me feel like I'm back in high school, I can't wait to start XD Syaoran and Sakura love!

The series is so sad ;~; I only read the manga. xD I can't wait to see Season 2 x3 I just hope Tsubasa ends with a happy ending or else it would be soo sad. ;~;

Syaoran's cape-thing seems a little unnatural looking to me. It looks too...blocky? angular?...and the color seems out of place. It also seems a little strange that there are no white dots on his cape when they're everywhere else. Other than that, I like it.

Wow o_O in a regular way i don't like the manga wallpapers, dunno why, but this wallpaper has two things i love:

1.- Syaoran & Sakura
2.- Couple theme

that's why i love this wallpaper, original, simple, and very cute ^^ so, congratulations for you awesome job dude, i hope you can do another one, like this one but, with anime images =D thanks for the release

The background is flowery and simple yet calming at the same time. I like how the scan has a manga like texture to it. Makes it look like the source scan was a Tsubasa manga cover. Very nice work. Take care.

I love Sakura and Syaoran and this wall just simply shows how cute they are together XD It almost looks like the viewer has stumbled upon a private moment and Syaoran is about to kick some tail if you don't explain who you are and what you're doing there

This is an ok wallpaper. The scan is pretty much since some people use that scan for their wallpaper as well, but what's different about this wallpaper is the background. The flower background gives meaning and compasion to the title of your wallpaper. I hope to see more detail to your next wallpaper tusbasa reservoir wallpaper.

The scans are cute, nice and pretty and your re-CGing is very good. Nice mixing of the scans. The theme of the wallpaper is very classic but I have always loved this kind of couple wallpapers... I like the way you have made Sakura´s cape.

It sounds funny, but i remember this wall...not entirely too sure how either.

but it still looks good and is filled with equal amount of clamp coolness.

but some parts of the cape are blurry. it's not even really noticable.
