This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
While I might be still be waiting for my first Kamichu! DVD to come, I did have enough time to make a nice little wallpaper for this little show. I basically just wanted a soft and light background in order to complement the orignal character image. I also decided to go for a simple and plain scenic look, going for the traditional paper-screen doors and the red leaves close to the screen (thanks to Kalico for the advice on that part). I hope you all enjoy!
Nice kamichu wall, but it's in the wrong category :(
Excellent work on the background, effects are beautiful, nice scan.
You did a very great work, keep it up :)
Very good job but i think the red flowers from the tree are a little bit too blurry; a little bit less would have been better. Anyway, i like it even if i don't know that manga.
Good work.
I like it a lot i agree with the person a bove me the flowers theyre a bit to blurry but the rest si really good teh effects are nice keep up teh good work ;)
In the wrong category... The scan is very nice and pretty, I like it... The background is very well made, so beautiful *_*! I think I must agree with many others; the red flowers are a little too blurry. The colours of the background are clean and realistic, they go well with the scan. The light effects are great.
Awesome work!
My new favourite... :)
I think it's beautuful...arn't the flowers supposed to be blurry? I think it works, those flowers are very much in the foreground and they give depth to the scene.
Well I myself am still waiting for the first dvd and I have to say this wall is absolutly beautiful...the soft feel is perfect...I love the red flowers there very passionate looking and it mixes well with the brown of the wood and the light color of the screen...she looks very composed and her smile is very faint yet sweet and soft...I love the clothes that she's wearing also there very detailed but not to over done...everything about this wall is perfect...but then again all your walls are pretty amazing^^...A++ and a fav...can't wait to see your next work..(*^_^*)..
