Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I adore the girls of "Love Hina" and decided, a time ago, to make this wallpaper. I used some brushes that liked and I made a cute clipping. I was worried more about the colors. Without leaving that they were contrary to the spirit of the wallpaper. This is my first job here in APe. I hope that you like!
Ehmmm ^//^ I just want to comment about the background...I love the colors and all the elements, the leaves and swirly things and the typo...excellent work with the background!

My intention making the white cut around the girl was to improve the balance of the colors. I thought that the background would not be contrasted with the image of the girl. But thanks for you oppinion.
I like what you did with the white around her. I think it looks better than if you had just placed her with everything else. To me it says that she's the focal point of the piece as opposed to being a part of the background.

I like the background and the character but that white border around her seems iffy to me, kind of like you just pasted her on top, other than that great work ^_^
The background is very nice, the light and brown-ish colours are well chosen and pretty and I love those details there. I don´t say anything about the scan.

Well, aside that, I think it need a little cleaning, you should use png instead of jpg (I can see some little artifacts), also the hair's outline looks a little pixelated (too much antialiasing?)
