Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I was wanting to make a nice and smooth wallpaper. A nice and sharp, stylish and very pretty looking. I had looking looking for almost two weeks then I found this one scan that was just sitting there. It was a really beautiful scan, it was saying 'make me into a wallpaper...make me into a wallpaper' and I listened to it's command.
First I took the two characters in the scan, Jack and Ridley and resized them to a much larger image. I had to clean the scan and smoothen it a little then I did a ton of colors and blended it in. I took the rest of the scan and I very carefully overlayed the perfect part of the scan over the characters giving it a very nice feeling. And then for the next hour or so, I took the sky part of the scan and put it around the character. Did a couple of different colored of variation for it and it turned out as so.
I think I got exactly the kind of wallpaper I wanted. A very gentle, smooth, and clean wall that's just pretty. I was amazed by my own work,(I don't really think I'm good). So I hope everyone else like my wall.
Usually i dont download wallpapers from animes or mangas i dont know about... somehow this wallpaper showed me there are some great wallpapers of animes i havent seen... a whole new world has opened for me. ohw and nice wallpaper.
If you would've kept the characters smaller, it would've given an amazing feeling of distance and an aura of disadvantage and bravery coming from the characters.
I was playing this game last night! ^-^ Love it!! OK NOW!! About the wallpaper...I know exactly what you did with this... I say it's a good idea and you pulled it off quite well. I'm not saying anymore about that but I'll add it to my favorites cause I love Radiata Stories!! ^-^
