Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I had a sudden urge to make wings. and thus i made this...although i could have used any character. I chose kos mos because her costume design is nice
the wings were pretty easy to make. I drew in solid shapes and then i smudged the edges using a tablet in various directions...
why black wings? im not too sure, i never beat the game heh
the clouds were just fancy stock photo..tho in this they look pained and/or fake..so thats completly fine with me
this was also just tech practice. also wanted it to have that blurry HDR effect so common now in video games came out nicely [but i made this a while back...i dont think any games used hdr back then]
not one of my better works...but a work at least
A lot of people are doing Xeno walls now, aren't they? ^-^
Nice wallpaper. That used to be a profile picture where she just stands there with nothing better to do. XD But now she looks like she's standing there with a purpose! Kind of like the ending of Xenosaga I (no trying to spoil anyone).
Personally I would have liked it better if Kos-Mos's wings are white instead of black...but this is great too. :D
For me.. the wallpaper is OK.. but its too simple..
the scan is fine.. but the background is a lil boring.. you shouldve worked on the background more..
i also think that the lines stuff on her dont really work with the background..
but yea.. the wallpaper looks fine..

The sky looks real O_O. Back to the subject, the thing i liked best is that how you pieced all of it together. The starry night backround blended well with your character and wings. i also liked the wings hehe. it was well done with your strategy ^^;. im shocked (in a good way) how you brightened kos mos on the left with the clouds. overrall, i think this is a great wall. keep up the good work
Really awesome. It totally gets the feeling of KOS-MOS from the game across to me. I'm glad to see you used the first game's version of her XD Didn't like the one in the second game as much.
THis wallpaper is not bad. It is pretty simple. THe background is not much to look at. But the lightly transparent wings on the character add a very special touch to the picture. I would change the background to maybe an island rather than a sky filled with clouds.
