Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
After a super-long hiatus, I've finally made another wallpaper. Despite having zero familiarity with the game this character is from (hence my difficulty coming up with a decent title), I liked this scan enough to make a wallpaper from it anyway. I'm not sure how long it took, as I worked on it in bits and pieces over the course of roughly a week. I'm still not sure I'm happy with the way the clouds ended up, but I guess they look fine. I like the way the overall color scheme turned out. I tried adding foreground fog, more doodads in the sky, and so forth, but I couldn't come up with anything that didn't make it look too "busy" or just plain worse.
WOW ^o^. I will be enjoying with this wall for a while and in many years to comes.
Its simply fantastic. The scan is lovely, the background is amazing and your technique in blending the two category together just makes the wall a "MASTERPIECE"

Impressive. The scan is pretty and clean and the colours of it go well with the background. The background is well made and I personally like those violet/purple colours... they are pretty ^^ Your work with the clouds and the sky is great too. Well, some of those swirls/ circles lines around the girl are disturbing me a little but good work with the wallpaper! :)
The wall is amazing @@, all those purple colors looks very nice, the clouds looks excelent, the scan is pretty good for that background, i like the little moon too.

It's blended pretty good and i agree with you on the color scheme. looks nice :) some of the clouds are alittle too blurry but overall you did a great job ;)
Well ... it's almost impossible to make a bad wallpaper using this scan...it's just so great. I like your wall, my only objection would towards the moon/planet...it's not necessary, the clouds sufice....but that's just me. Great work!

I've never seen this series before, but this wall is gorgeous. I love the colors, the clouds, everything, its really nice. Lighting and shading are really good too.
