Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I've been working on this one periodicaly through out the weekend. wasn't sure which way i wanted to take it. i've made two versions, the one submitted is more compelling, it kinda draws the eye to it. here is the other version (it's a bit more "traditional" but looks good too):
textures from deviant and DA!, scans from here, took me about 8 hrs to make (extraction took forever ;p).
The way their flowing hair seems to meld in with the background, as well as the background itself, is quite beautiful. I like the blending job done with this wall. Some of the textures on the characters could be toned down a bit but that's more due to personal taste, so that critique is negligible. Overall, it's a very nice piece. I'll fave this because the contrasting flowing hair is so beautiful. Well done. Take care.
Love the golden/brown colour tones, the added depths via layering and shading, and great scan choice.

Very nice! The scan is good and I like the way you have edited the colours so brownish. I prefer the darker/ not-so-traditional version of the wallpaper because the brush work + textures in the wings are pretty :) and the lighter colours of the white one´s wings make the wings look like they are made of light, it looks awesome *_~ that´s what I think... Very nice work with extraction.

Very cute wallpaper, those girls simply look so kawaii and blend perfect together, the background is really nice and is well mixed with the pictures of the girls, great job i have to say
Man, I wish I had hair like that. *sigh* They're both beautiful and the way they're laying makes for an amazing look. Their hair forms a sort of design against the background.
