Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I've been working on this one periodicaly through out the weekend. wasn't sure which way i wanted to take it. i've made two versions, the one submitted is more compelling, it kinda draws the eye to it. here is the other version (it's a bit more "traditional" but looks good too):

Wow, at first glance I thought it was chi and dark chi from chobits...but this wallpaper is nonetheless very nicely done! I love the dark tones, and the brownish background, it makes the girls in front very noticiable ^^ good job!

A nice piece, but I feel it was a bit too subdued. You could've made a bigger contrast between the two girls, possibly in the wings. The ribbon connecting them might've been more obvious. I don't know the origional, but another thing might've been used. Still, this is a good wallpaper.
