Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Hehe, i took today off work and have been working on this all day. i vectored the images from a screenshot i took and the bg is a mixture of textures from deviant and stockxchng. the text is fragments of the opening song. i wasn't sure if i should have the black bars or not, i've never tried it before and it kinda seems to suite the wall. let me know your opinions on the matter :)
hope you guys enjoy, thought i would make something a bit more somber ;) i'm probably going to put most of my effort into the battleground project now, so you more than likely won't see a wall from for bit ;p

It's minimalist but I like it. Especially the background with a the broken fragments from the opening theme. That was a nice touch. Nice work. Take care.
The colors look a little grainy, but I think it fits with the black bars. I like the background; putting the words from the opening song was a nice touch. On the bottom right though, by Hideki's right hand, you can see some words, was that intentional? But overall, it's a nice wallpaper with great vectoring. Nice job!
WOW thats so sad, and very sweet at the saim time! i like a lot and the bg with the writings is very interesting! i love the vector, and the feelin its, just such a love story, of him, and her.... oH my i love it! THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKIN IT! its great! and i also like the texture on the characters. hum... how do you put the texture on them like that?? I cud never do that even with brushes, and textures...

I don't know about the black top and bottom borders, but I can understand that you wanted to make it look widescreen and give it that film look on a 4:3 resolution. i think you should make a 16:9 version for people with widescreens, that way you don't have to fill in all that space with black.
