Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I was watching this wallpaper come together in Session Zero, and the finished product turned out awesome. The Destroy Gundam is really reminiscient of how it was in the series, right down to the city's destruction. The texture brings it altogether, and even though some detail is lost because of it, the overall atmosphere more than makes up for it ^^
Another GSD wall to add to my gallery. I've been itching to do another mecha wall for a while, and when I saw this scan, I knew I had found the subject I was looking for. The scan was awfully covered with text, however, but I managed to clean it up a fair bit. If you don't notice the recolouring, then I've succeeded! XD Even so, the scan was pretty poor quality, so I had to do quite a bit of texturing to cover it up.
Destroy, being such a huge piece of destruction-equipment, I decided to go with a firey, smoking, destroyed city kind of look. It took me a while to do the buildings, although now that it's finished, they're barely visible... T_T Even so, I tried to add as much details as possible with the buildings. The sky was a blend of a couple of stock photos I found at sxc.hu. Add in faint silhouettes of Freedom and Impulse, and you have the sky! Of course, there are faint hints of green beams fired all over the place, but I guess that isn't visible either, eh?
The smoke, after texturing and stuff, didn't look that much like smoke anymore... But if it's grey, it won't fit in... I guess it looks okay right now. The smoke is actually used to seperate buildings from each other, showing layers of them, and to cover up the text near the 'thigh's of Destroy, so I couldn't take them away.
Overall, I think this wall turned out pretty good. I think I definately caught the feeling of a city better this time, after the failed attempt in Berserker.

Very nice wall! Really shows how destructive the Destroy really is hehe. Its lik your title says, you gav it a very chaotic look! Thumbs up on this amazing wall! xD
This is a great wallpaper. The brushing is simply fantastic! I also love the way you've magnified the sense of scale in the picture. The colors are great as well. They blend together perfectly but don't stand out too much - just the right amount. I love it! Great job and I look forward to seeing more from yuo!
