Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
This was originally going to be blue and yellow. And that was all I had. Then I changed the colours, and decided to go with a poster idea. Then I remembered a wall I'd seen and tried it straight on the wood. And damn was I happy.
I haven't a Roxas wallpaper as great as yours! the wall looks so abstract when i first saw it,but when i looked at it carefully i can see a wood texture. and what it reminds me is like a fence that has a nice picture on it. something you could find in Twilight Town or something. lol. the vector is tight and roxas looks good. :) it looks very original. good job!!

Gorgeous, really looks like a photograph of a painting on a picnic table or something. The colors are pretty. I read up on the rules of the Battleground contest... you really managed to pull off something original with or without the limitations of the contest. And I heart Roxas *squeeeeeee. A definite favorite.

To start, this wall's definitely gonna pwn everyone else's in the War, and if it doesn't then pffffffffft. Love the scan that you chose. The colours, the expression, and the stare - all priceless. I really must say I do love it. Lines - very smooth, clear-cut, crisp ~ I'm just a sucker for anything like that, honestly. Blah, the colours ~!That is -awesome- how it seems to fade from top-left to bottom-right. It lets the shades go on its own, and the colour in his eye just captivates you in its looks. It's like an owl's eyes - canary diamonds - you could just drown in em ~ The red in the collar really serves to decorate and impress, too, but acts as such an accent- it screams; you just can't help but to wanna die for it. Not to mention, the roses and designs going on behind him really work as they should: as deviations and extras and excitement; all that enraptures the main character, blooming out from him and feeding upon his presence.
I already mentioned what I thought of the fence and ~!The text "kingdom hearts" really works well where it is and the bubble-block lettering I'm really quite fond of. The stickers ~ beside the main illustration ~ are also such brilliant effects. My my ~ I just can't get enough of em, of everything, just letting the entire wall sink in and can't helping but to admire the whole thing as just a priceless masterpiece ~ >.< It really .. is ... just that amazing in my eyes - no exaggeration, honest =x
I just love it to death and the personal sig was a very nice touch, too, and the sig on the bottom. Colour compliments the rest of the wall well, and I like it :3 Fav, fav, as I said ~ Awesome work :D

Lmao, you don't want to know how much I've bashed that contest, mostly because I was (and somehow I still am) of the opinion that the whole thing about 'forcing' people under weird conditions was pretty much pointless and would produce not so great wallpapers.
I am still partially of that idea, though I gotta say this wallpaper (and a couple of other ones I've seen so far) does really look nice and I couldn't imagine that a stock and a vector could actually work together this well. Too bad I happen to dislike Kingdom Hearts though :P
This KH wallpaper just rocks my world. Roxas was one of my favorite characters and I love how you show his emotions in this wallpaper so well. He has that deep and forboding look. I just love it. I can't really say anything else to this wallpaper. It was just done so well!

Very cool wall! Well this is one concept I don't see very often. I mean the vector with the wooden wall is very well vectored and that 'hello' sticker. Nice addition! Yes this is going into my favorites!
