Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
The moment i saw this wall in the queue, i knew it had to be featured. Why? just LOOK at it! i've seen this scan used a million times. But never in such a unique way as this. First of all it's vectored. But not only is it vectored, it's given a pop-art mixed with a beautiful scenic piece as well. The colors and overall feel of the wall just make you feel so light and fluffy. The only problem is there is so much to look at, it might not be as desktop friendly as some, but as a design piece it's just stunning.
Make sure to full view this one. The thumbnail does not do it any kind of justice.

For those who saw my previous vector, yes, this is another freakin CLAMP vector. I just love vectoring CLAMP stuff ^^
I really loved this scan when I saw it. But after I finished with it, I hated it with a passion. grr...
Anyways, I first started off vectoring the image but halfway through it, I realized how much the sleeves of her robe look like wings. I wanted to paint a cloud scene on it but after many failed attempts, I decided to use a stock instead. For the stock, I filtered it to give it more of a drawn look. Then I experimented with two different smudge settings to give it that 'painted' feel.
EDIT: Ahh almost forgot my favourite part of the wall-the space scene xD. I was going to start off with a simple space scene to fill in for that dark space but it kinda got out of hand =P Somehow, birds ended up flying in space o.0 (upper left corner of the robe). The other set of birds are near the bottom and I tried to make the birds look like their flying upwards.
The background with all the vecotrs and arrows and stuff were inspired by many of his older works when he used the vector brushes. The brushes are from Paul W
I'm too lazy to write anymore but I'll try to answer my 500+ notifs soon x.x I promise to submit a real wall next time xD

Inspiration: Devil Dude He's been such a huge inspiration ever since I saw his works on MT. His walls have style, cute anime girls, ecchi(for the perverts =P), simplicity, and other good stuff. OMG² 0.0 what a wonderfull wall... This is spectacular... How to explain what i see... Nice colors to begin i love it! I LOVE the sky on her robe that's really cool !! *ç* So the background ic nice too with many form and colors but there are circle and i don't really know why there are here, may be a background with only sky form will be... But it's really a good job!i love it so i take it in my favorite and i put it on my windows desktop!thanks for your work !! :3

WOW! Usually when people say "the thumbnail does not do it justice", I take that with a grain of salt, but they're really dead on this time! I couldn't make heads or tails of what was what in the thumb, but the full wall is marvelous!
What strikes me the most is the really, really vibrant colors used. The whole wall seems to pop out of my monitor.

Wow, that is a crazy wallpaper. couldn't tell from small, but once enlarged, it looks amazing. the bird, and the girl, can't tell where one starts and ends. the choice of cololrs and images really blends the whole wallpaper together.
