Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I really wanted to try out grunge and fantasy since I don't think I've done either. The reason it's entitled "Elemental Infection" is because you'll see some representations for different elements like wood, water, air, ice and such, and they seem to be getting infected by some sort of virus, which is represented through the grunge work. The girl is also getting infected. I'm sorry if I the wallpaper doesn't fit the girl at all. I haven't watched Shingetsutan Tsukihime yet, and I just wanted a very high quality scan.
Please excuse my grunge work for now, as this is my first try at it. I really like how I made the texts though. smiley This just includes lots of brush work using PS default brushes and some brushes from DeviantArt, different blending modes, and a couple of stock photos from www.sxc.hu.
45 layers. Took about 8 hours in 7 days (in the middle of homework! smiley).

Amazingly, this wallpaper of this marvel, one of the things most outstanding are the lower and the wave of light around the render, I do not forget the lights above the bottom and combines very well with render finally letters hardly but I see this so well, good job

Great job on this wallpaper. You're correct that the girl doesn't fit with the background since I don't see any infection on her at all(or it might be that the infection is too subtle). However, the image of the "pure" girl contrasting with the infected background does work to a certain extent.
