Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Haha! Well well didnt expect to do something like this but what really made me want to do this was episode 12 of Haruhi Suzumiya. Now as you know this was just a side wall for now until I complete this huge one I'm doing of a cityscape. I used this pic gladly found over at AnimeSuki while browsing the image forums for resources. And well this is what came up
This is what made me want to blend this into an entire background as you see there is some areas of fault but I really didnt care this was such a fun wall to begin with. I also had limited resources trying to find the drummer for it also tried to find the bass guitarist but sadly no luck (in that perspective). I also used this pic of Yuki:
Now you notice that it was ink art and I was thinking maybe this would be good because of how Yuki is always silent really kind of in her own world even though she has a kind heart but doesnt show it. I decided to use it anyway and I didnt mind if it really didnt go well with the wall I fixed most of the areas of her guitar trying to add to it like strings and the text even though the Godin doesnt have its name on the side I just wanted to give it a more classic feel.
Now the drums I did customly as you noticed I tried using a base of my uncles drums because he has his own band. Well I can say it came out fairly well especially the shine, reflections, and the labeling on them.
Now I know this isnt one of my best walls but hey! I had a blast it was a fun wall to do while listening to God Knows and Lost My Music by Aya Hirano this is I can say a treat for you Haruhi fans who really enjoyed seeing her on stage and basically tearing the roof off of a school. In alot of peoples opinions it really beats a Meer Concert from Gundam Seed Destiny any day hahaha!
Before I go I would like to say Ill be off on Vacation on Monday to the US for a few days so it will be fun! This will be my last wall for now until later on in the next couple of months I might be also saying goodbye to you guys soon because I have a big job over at Future Shop (Canadian Store, Owned by Best Buy) so it will be quite difficult to do walls. So dont worry I'll pop in once in awhile to show you guys my works. If you still want to you can go to my DevART page and check out all the signatures and other works I do so Check it Out!.

Its awesome, especially since it took so much work and everything is done from scratch. But it still needs a lot of work. It seems "unfinished" and I think a big part of that is because it lacks shadows. The characters look completely flat, especially the guitarist, on a 3D background. Not only the shadows but Im not sure the other two characters are fit for the angle you chose, they're original angle was from the front, and you drastically switched it to the lower right, making them look flat like I said above. amazing job on the stage though.

but the drums are awesome x3 maybe you should have skewed the text a bit at a perspective though.

However, I'd have preferred a bit more stuff to fill up the space between haruhi and co... the stage walls make the scene look too.. empty. Perhaps some visual effects or something ... sparkles/stars etc.
Currently the wallpaper is too plain for my tastes - it doesn't fit into the minimalistic category, but neither does it fit into my 'great!' category.
Something about the drums look off... maybe 'cause they're not on the same tilt as the stage, so the perspective looks a bit wonky @_@ I'm almost tempted to say this wall would look just great with only Haruhi... nonetheless nice job overall with the bg, I really like your lighting ^^
Great ink art! Love the cging of it! Great blending of elements and scans (thou the drummer, forgot her name, was it Mai? ne wayz she looks a bit pasted on) but everything else is pretty good. SUm places looks empty. Maybe you should have added sum strobe lights and colors at the top to have this crazy concert look. I was actually going to do A wall like this but only until I get a good scan of the concert hall, ne wazy good job though! FAvorite!

Wow, this is a really you made. The whole perspective really looks just exactly like the music scene in episode 12. If only you had mai on bass in this wallpaper as well. I really like haruhi's expression. And her right leg really looks like you captured a scene when she's moving. The colours looks really great. I mean like, it's really well balanced out and picked. The scans of haruhi and yuki really fits into the whole perspective. It really looks like it was never a scan but designed by you. The banner on top of the stage is really creative. Mizuki's drums looks really good. The colours on the drums are well picked. All in all, this is a really outstanding wallpaper. Capturing that scene and turning it into a wallpaper is a great inspiration. I hope to see more work like this. Keep up the outstanding work.

This is a really cool wallpaper. It has the perfect perspective on all the characters and smooth colors. Plus, I love guitars & drums. In my suggestion, you should've added a sort of sillhouette audience in the front, that'd been cool. ^^ But it stilll rocks even without them! A very cool, new and refreshing wallpaper.
