Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
(only put old version to show you improvements).
So, i re-worked the whole thing.
Anyway, for me in a wallpaper there's 2 important things : the meaning & the image.
Let's start with the meaning :
Imagine you're in outerspace, in the middle of nowhere, after a very long journey on board of your space ship (you're the pilot); when suddenly you see a beautiful girl in front of you like "floating" ...
You're thinking : is it real or am i dreaming ?
Then you heard her little voice saying : "You're lost. Don't worry, come with me and i'll show you the way."
...
Enough for meaning (i leave your imagination do the rest); now the wallpaper :
I've put planets but since i've said that we are in another galaxy; far away for everything, i removed them.
To render the atmosphere of far in outer space and in the middle of nowhere, i've done a background with the character in the middle of a nebulae and i integrated her with this.
Don't be abused by the vision, it tooks me a lot of time to achieve this tricky result (different layers options, colors, ...) but looking far away from everything (i.e. no planets, ... to guess where we are).
If you don't beleve me, just take a look in session zero :
I've put japanese fonts to go with the character and i've put my user name in normal font at the bottom left corner to be visible and not bug you (since windows start bar will hide it).

On to your wall. Looks like the the previous version wasn't accepted because of background (my opinion) but now the background looks magnificant. It really looks like she is from another dimension. The extraction of scan must be good and you have achieved that of course.

Using Kanji for the wallpaper is a good idea I think :)
The background is nicely done. The transparency of the character gives the wole wallpaper a sense of dream or of something completely unreal happening and I like that :) The "Come with me" is a nice idea too ;)

Anyway about the wall. I like it the character blend in much better then the first one. But it's to blury and i'm not a big fan of that. :) But it's a good ide in space and all. Good work with the bg improving. It's a nice wall, keep it comming!
