Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
This is actually one of my lost files...sometime in 2005 my hard drive crapped out and at that time i hadnt backd up my files in like half a year ...so anything i had made late 2004/early 2005 was lost...luckily i still had this in my web storage
erm this is just the usual experimentation stuff..tho now that i look back at it...i wonder why i made teh characters have that magenta screen on,,, >_>
i think i just felt like making something magenta!...i dunno what i was thinking then..and this is my first and only ikki wp...and probably the last unless i find some kooler pix..
yeah the scans themselves werent the greatest
[and friggin how come there isnt any new Battle Vixens manga in the US ARRRG!]
oh yeah, and i love the way the earrings turned out:D its just like the intro! hehe
*those clear things are these earrings that these fighters wear to umm say "hey im a fighter". anyways in the intro of the anime it shows a couple of clear earrings falling down...and i basically tried to copy that
Big fan of the cheezy-ness of the series. Love the colours to make contrast mate. Really nice. Love the framing and the compostion. Not too sure of the blurred ear-rings in the foreground though... Must congratulate on the blue and pink though, there can never be enough images (that goes for walls/photos/paintings/the like that use contrasting colours such as these. Thank you.
The pink is ingenues. I love it. The over lay of the charm is too cool. How did you do that? The background is very nice it ties in very well. Also the cut of the charaters is very nice. Thanks for sharing!!
Oh, nice variations for this concept! The colors chooseing are quite great! only these blury jin-jang things, that I don't like in them :]

I'm really liking the colors you used for this wallpaper. It gives a sense of "cotton candy". Unfortunately I can do without the Magitama (sp?). I don't think they add much to the wallpaper
Nice! I like how the scan blends with the grainy background and the brown hue color is perfect too! scan is clean and crisp and love how the wanted poster has a pic of Hakufu! great work on Background too! Hakufu looks cute in there! good job! Favorites for me!
