Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Anyways I'm kinda tired since I just got back from work, but anyways long story short, this wallpaper gave me the most pain out of all the wallpapers that I've made. I restarted the this wall three times and it was originally supposed to be coloured...but I'll be damned if I was gonna colour and redraw the whole background, so I just did a quick fix and made it black and white...
I really don't think you need the black outline to separate the picture from the white border. And you could probably add more stuff (like...I don't know, plane tickets?) aside from the photo to make the wallpaper look more interesting. I don't know, it just seems unfinished for some reason.
So far you did a good job. I just think this wallpaper needs a little bit more work. :)
Awesome job wit this image. i like it b&w here as much as I like it coloured. It looks like a picture you just post on a bulliten board next to all the other pictures (without the lettering) or a really awesome postcard that I wouldn't mind getting in the mail. Great job!
You know what it looks great the way it is. sometimes color doesn't cut it. sometimes you got to go with the black and white. but either way it's cool looking. good job.
Wow this wallpaper is seamless shiney and sexah! I'm surprised it's not getting a lot more attention then it is here...The black and white really ups the intensity on an action shot within the photograph...The motion blur on the city below is a nice touch too.
