Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
The idea of doing this wallpaper came when I read AQUA(from the same ARIA's author, and basically its prestrains) and I saw this image; then I searched some image, whose character colud fit with the idea I had in mind.
I've 'repainted' the character using Photoshop.
About the bg: I've used brushes to do the clouds, the sea and the sparkles.The splash is done by me.
It took a lot of time to finish it(almost 3 weeks!), since I had been really busy those days(final exams and all that stuff).

Haven't seen an Aria wall in a long time! Its really pretty too. The cicle and sunset goes well together. But why didn't you just use Alicia? Or who ever was on the scan?

This is a really lovely wall. While the ring of water has always been Alicia's "trademark", this wall makes it look completely Athena (which is anything but a bad thing)!
Lovely colours and use of brushes too; the clouds and water effects are great. And all of the retouching/editing of Athena is well done too. :) Very nice job.
Very pretty wall. :) I lived near the ocean up until a year ago, and I just love watching the sun set over it.. this captures that feeling very well. Very well balanced composition.
