Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Finally I've got myself to make another wall. It took me around 5 hours + to finish it even tough most of my time was lost to think about how it looked.
Well the concept is the story in Shadow Hearts itself. It's about a cursed man, swallowed in his own darkness that finally find his happiness with a help of a girl.
I used the scan from Animepaper scan gallery. Thak's for contributing this scan I've liked it ever since I saw that picture in the game.
Well I remaked the man's back (there's a big logo on the real scan) , and then smudged it. Did a lot of blurring effect. I wanted to make the picture a bit colorless. Then some random brushes. Finishing it with the typography and the effect.
Thanks for imPanda and chibicrystal for your comments, I really appreciated it and did some improvement.
PS for Admin: sorry for double submitting this wallpaper, the last time I tried to submit it, the page turned into a Not Responding Page. So I don't really know if I've uploaded this wall or not.

i love this idea.. i like that hand hanging there.. lol.. its like its gonna grab that guy.. or he's someone from heaven whos taking his life away... very nice.. love those effects.. just didn't like the bottom coz its blurred too much.. maybe its supposed to be like that.. oh well.. lol.. you did a great job!

The darkness around the main character gets me rite on focus. And the darkness wraps around the character giving a really deep and meaningful look... awesome!

It's pretty cool ^^ I like how you've portrayed the scan, though it seems a little too much filtered? Though very nice, like the shining light and that XP Nice and simple concept ^^
