Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Its just somethin new tat ive tried... the silohuette... i dont think it is tat good yet... so i will need some comments and also some feedbacks on wat i have to work on... it will be most appreciated^0^

Hm, the reason this wallpaper does not work well, is that Gankutsuou is not an anime that lends itself to vector works, especially abstract and messy ones.

the messy pop-art in the background is well done, but it has little if anything to do with gankutsuou, so it just creates an odd "vector-slapped-on-background" eqsue feel. i like the messy background, jsut not with gankutsuou.

I think it's a little too messy and scattered. And Gankutsuou isn't much of an anime for that type of style.

Good idea, bad result. I like what you're trying to do, and the elements (background & front) are good on their own, but they just don't mix well. As others said, the background has nothing to do with Gankutsuou, and there's no connectin between it and the characters in the front. I'd like to see a redone version of this, one day.

This wallpaper isn't too bad, though Gankutsuou wallpapers are usually scenery and textured sort of wallpapers. This wallpaper looks pretty interesting, it's a bit crowded though I like the brushes you used, if you just think of where to place it so it doesn't look like just a clump of brushes placed anywhere, think before you leap ne ^___________^

I like the background, although i don't know this series so I can't tell if this is matching or not... but i think the white eyes are weird... but the background is very good!

Great work on the background
...but for some reason it feels like it doesn't go well with general Gankutsuou theme...
.. perhaps it is because the series itself had a distinctive and unique style which is the "business-card" of the anime, and taking it even further for stylizing is like "adding sugar to honey" <<...what is wrong with me with all that similes and metaphors -_-' .>> In short great work, wrong subject.
