Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I've wanted to do a wall for us for a while :3
i decided i wanted to do a userpage, and after chatting with tate for a bit, i finally ofund a scan that i liked. It's from gunslinger girl. And it just suited what i wanted right away. So, i decide, vectoring owuld be best. But i didn't want an uber-detailed vector. i wactually wanted it more abstract and simplified, so i went with it. That means it's not perfect, but thats the way i wanted it. Their fingers are weird, and their violins are a loose version of a violin, so don't start whinning about how the strings aren't supposed to be all the same with and the tuners are all weird and what not. i played violin for a few years myself, so i know what they look like >_>
This wall will eventually make it to a userpage/layout for AP for anyone to use as soon as i get some time.
In the mean time, cheer the Crimson Orchestra on as we grow as wallers, and hopefully win some battles along the way :3
I like it, the idea really fits well with what the Crimson Orchestra is all about. I'm a huge fan of vectors without outlines and such, and the faceless girls give it a kind of eerie feeling... and I like having wallpapers with some sort of feeling coming out of them :P You also put our logo in the background :0 We is the bomb. Nice work Kalico.
Nice vector work its really simple yet it works well with the wallpaper as do the colors. I really liked this wallpaper it was one that caught my eye, so keep up the good work!

the vector concept is really nice, but what i like most is the BG, just grungy enough with composition that really works.
no in fact what i love the most is the overall, these faceless character (that sticks soo well with the anime, these soulless, personality-less characters) in a somewhat tormented world... Kalico you kick asses XD

Wow, I see so many wallpapers on this site that would be much cooler without the text. O.o I like the vector, except for the hands. They look odd/off balanced for some reason. The colours are nice, bright and alive. Red is indeed good. The text just kills it, imo. But yeah, text hater here. It's a good job by AP's standards though. ^^
