Hello,

Okay this is purely a crop with some re-vamping and brought to you in wallpaper form. I've been working on this other project and got tired so I wanted to make something else real quick just to kind of breath XD. I did some color adjustments, texturing and was going for that "painted" look. I sort of got it but not quite. I'm pleased with the outcome. I wanted to intensify the whole feeling of the scan and bring out that angelic feeling nicely but not overly.

Wow, I like it. You definitely achieved the angelic feel you were going for here. As for the text I don't mind it being there, although you could post a link to a version that didn't have the text in it for people who don't like it being there. And BTW, about long projects, I know how you feel. Problem with me is that if I make another wall I'll get sidetracked and never finish the one I'm working on now. In any case, again, nice job. ^_^

I like the whole soft feel to it. It's very relaxing. It's nice to see a wall that's not blinding me. XD
As for the text, it fits in pretty nicely, I think. Though, I agree with Sakiera in that you should just post up a textless version for those who prefer it.

I think that is OK. The purple sky behind, the angel, the EVA 1. But I was asking myself if the angel was shingi or not. Great one.

Wait, so you didn't even change the clouds for better ones?. I saw the thumbnail and I was like "wtf! zomg..I found my new desktop" and I get nothing but a texture over a scan with fancy text over it? unacceptable. I really would restrain from making such a foul comment if you'd at least updated the clouds, which IMO are horrible, some brushed up clouds or even a stock might've been better (thats my critique btw). C'mon man, you can do way better than this.

Nicely done, but it feels too cluttered. The iconic image took a minute to discerne, and was not quite recognizable as a thumbail image.

Too bad the scan was too good, eh? lol. Awesome wallpaper as it is, although not much needed to be done with it. It IS a pity the scan did so much already. :\
