Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Revision from my earlier work at ArtVerve. The background is a shot from Ex Green Hill State Hospital. Just messing around with the matching colors & vanishing points tool. Fix some blur and add more negative space, I'd place lots² of gradient mask to match the color depth with this pieces. and I fix the size for wallpaper. Really like the clean & simple outcome.

Sweet L, this reminds me, i can't wait to see the death note movie, but anyways, amazing job with the the lighting for the windows in the dark room, very realistic

In 30 minutes you managed to create THAT? Dats awesome. Ok, love the background and it's perspective. The shot of L you incorporated in2 gives this sort of paranoid...creepy feelin. Will it give me nightmares?...hmmm dont thnk its scary to that extent but it does seem a lil disturbin lol. The lighting also adds to the whole eerie feelin. Great job! This is a definite fave

Really nice work with getting the background to blend with the scan!! It looks sooo cool ^_______^ The background is a little blurry at bits but nonetheless it's still a really great wallpaper ^O^

OMG +Fav. Now, this is the ONLY 1024 res wallpaper I've ever faved. Why? I can't use them, too small, but this one is gorgeous. Easily best Death Note wallpaper I've seen. If you can make it a little bit bigger I'd appreciate it greatly! Great job!

This is such a fun idea. L is definitely a bit messed in the head. The way L is lighted in relation to the background image light-source looks wrong to me (he should maybe look more backlighted from the left with stronger shading/highlight?), but the concept is great and it's really atmospheric.
