Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

been a long time since i've read the divine comedy, and i still loove it so much <3 emoticon
this description is gonna be kinda quick because i hafta get to work x_x
but basically, that quote from the divine comedy pushed most of this wall into being.
i love devil may cry. i never had the time to finish 3, but i loved what i played of it. and vergil is badass.
that scan just screamed "bring it on" to me, so a battle was what i went for. the background is a combo of a stock photo and me painting and drawing my ass off. as were the evil lil monster guys.
many screenshots, and many drawings from scratch went into this.
i wanna thank my army a ton for their criticism and support and awesome ideas.
and when shadow_dude uploads his wall to AP i have to link to it, because his was just awesome.
ironicly, we used the same scan.

Woah. This wallpaper makes me want to either break out the game again or make a wallpaper - gets the juices flowin'! :D The colouring is great, and the quality is so high. While I do agree that the left corner maybe could have used something, I can't think of what. No matter; so good.

Really nice lights and shadows. The colors and brightness really fit the scenery and the whole environment. Definitely one of the best DMC walls i've seen

Omgosh! Brilliant wall. The mood and theme is perfect for Vergil! Absolutely love the detail in the backdrop and the lighting effects. Gahh~ This makes me want to play DMC all over again! >o< You've really done an outstanding job with the coloring too! Great work! ^^
