Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

been a long time since i've read the divine comedy, and i still loove it so much <3 emoticon
this description is gonna be kinda quick because i hafta get to work x_x
but basically, that quote from the divine comedy pushed most of this wall into being.
i love devil may cry. i never had the time to finish 3, but i loved what i played of it. and vergil is badass.
that scan just screamed "bring it on" to me, so a battle was what i went for. the background is a combo of a stock photo and me painting and drawing my ass off. as were the evil lil monster guys.
many screenshots, and many drawings from scratch went into this.
i wanna thank my army a ton for their criticism and support and awesome ideas.
and when shadow_dude uploads his wall to AP i have to link to it, because his was just awesome.
ironicly, we used the same scan.

NOW I CAN LINK TO SHADOW_DUDES :D

Wow fantastic wallpapers one after the other! you are really talented! Love the character and the background! the lights shining in from the windows gave it a very serene feel. character was also well portrayed.

The color contrast from dark and light is amazing. On that note the lighting affects which gleam off the sword are wonderful to look at. Awesome job!

I think it is one of the coolest walls I've ever seen...
The light effects and the colours are just beautiful.

Wow this wallpaper is awesome. I love how you redid the scan and integrated this into a wallpaper. What seems odd is the light ray to the right. It seems like it splits for no reason. I don't know if this is a mistake but thats what my eyes are telling me. Other than that its an excellent piece of artwork. instant FAV. Keep it up!
