And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Well, I've been a big fan of this series for a while, so I decided it was time for another wall! This time I went for the forest theme again, mixing it with some of the old-school grunge stuff I do and just a few overlays and textures to wrap things up. I spent a while on this one trying to get the right mood and atmosphere, especially considering the sad situation Rika-chan (the character featured) always seems to be in during the shows many different scenarios. Enjoy!

I remember you showing me this wall.
it came a long way since the first time you showed it, and definitly for the better.
the idea of the forest definitly works, and the misty fog helps even more.
i also love the text <3 emoticon

i'm too tired to make a coherant comment, so i'll just say... nice work (i really need to watch this show)

Very nice, i like the blending and the fog effect, fits perfectly to it.
i also like the font, i don't think i know this one, would you might tell me how the font is called? and good job, i maybe should watch the anime, too.

Nice grunge work on here, love the bacgkround. I love this series even tho its freaky and I like the wall! Good texturing as well and I like your choice of font! PRetty damn good! Instnat favorites!

Red! Oh damn dude nice! Rika holy crap where did you get that? You gotta tell me my friend loves Rika and she would die if she saw this XD. Seriously I'm digging this you should make a project on this show. I mean you have done Rena and now Rika so why dont you do Mion or Shion next? Well done budd deserve a fav from me *thumbs up*.

I just wonder, wouldn't the title actually be "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" rather than "Higurashi Naku no Koro ni"?
But well, that doesn't matter. It's a damn nice wallpaper that totally fits Rika-chan in theme. The colours and and the mist were perfectly used.
I'll add it to my favourites =)
