Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

the original image i found had something that looked like blurred stock in the bg...so i choose this bg idea instead.

YOu know, everything besides the lighting in this is near perfect for me. If you can just make a bit more contrast, it'll be a masterpiece in my mind. However, that is not to say this isn't a good work. It's excellent texturing and blending...great job +Fav

All the incredible effects you've got in there - I didn't notice till I full viewed. The slight sparkles, the gentle texture, the delicately placed grain radiating off of the character in a circle, like on a pond... but not O_O

This is truly remarkably wonderful wallpaper, in fact I'd say it's probably one of the best I've ever seen. Everything looks completely perfect, it has amazing style and it goes seamlessly with the scan and the tile you chose. It really elicits a sense of wonder and majesty, like she's looking at a scene that's singularly vast and breathtaking. The magic/energy around her hand is also a great touch that really adds that something extra to it.
( ^_^; I don't guess I need to say it at this point, but it's definitely going into my favs ^^ )

The best way to get the full treatment from the animenation is to draw it
