Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
i had fun with this wallpaper
found the Scan of Witchblade (Masane Amaha) on AP..(thank you angel-voice) ... Click Here
im enjoying my vectoring at the moment ......so i had to vector the witchblade
the other one is Shiori Tsunuki wielder of the cloneblade ( a copy based on the witchbladel
that vector of Shiori was based on a screenshot from episode 4 of the Witchblase Anime TV series that i vectored
i had "wallpapers block" and couldnt think of a good bg to create with these vectors
background is based on a screencap from epidose 1 of the anime Kiba) that i vectored as well then played around with the brightness and contrast , lighting effects, lens flare effect
the starfield i created awhile ago and thought id use that instead of my standard cloud bg
i actually like the way it turned out and i think the color and contrast make the wallpaper look more vivid.....
anyway i hope you guys and gals out there like this wallpaper and any advise or criticism is welcome
the title came to me once i finished the wallpaper ... seeing these 2 at that angle and the poses they were in with that aloof attitude and arrogance well Femme Fatale was born...you wouldnt want to mess with these ladies :)
as it states Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned...its true gents its very true lolol ;)
for those who dont know what Femme Fatale means heres the explanation so boys read carefully ;)
2 entries found for femme fatale.
1. A woman of great seductive charm who leads men into compromising or dangerous situations.
2. An alluring, mysterious woman.
[French : femme, woman + fatale, deadly.]
update : i changed the positioning and font for the quote "Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned"
I can't say that I like Witchblade at all, but that doesn't prevent this from being a well-executed wallpaper. Nice selection and placement of subjects, excellent vector work, good overall composition. The shadows on the wall are a nice touch.
If I had to be nitpicky and find fault with your wallpaper, it would definitely be with the title, on two counts. First, the plural of femme fatale is femmes fatale (and not femme fatales as you used). Second, if you're using a literary quote for your subtitle, the actual phrase is "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", which has a subtle but significant difference in meaning from what you've used. Again, just being nitpicky. Good work overall!
Nice work! can't believe this hasn't gotten more comments (and just for that i'm gonna fav it ;p). i like everything about it! i haven't seen the anime of witchblade but i've read the comic books and watched the real people tv show. she's awesome! who's the chara with her?
anyways, i'm with shinsenqumi about the usage of the text but it's not a big deal. my issue is that the text and logo are too far down on the wall, the taskbar is gonna cover a big chunk of it...
nice work though! :)

I like the general execution, but what irks me is the difference in quality between the two women. The one in blue is much less detailed and has visibly thicker lines than Masane does. A way to correct this would be to make Masane's lines thicker to even it out. There's also visible artifacting on the blue one's clothes even at a high resolution that takes away from the overall quality. Other than those technical aspects it's well done.
It seem that the background is a little plain, but the placement of the characters are ok (even though they are two hot killing women waiting to spill blood). Not bad, but probably need improvement.
I needed a nice sexy wall for my new laptop and I think this will do nicely! The only thing I have to say is that I'm liking the whole design of the wall but after you get over the "bobbies overload" (My cousins phrase) you kinda can see which girl came from a scan and which was a vector from a screenshot. Their diffference aren't that great yet kinda obvious to a few of us. Other than that nice wall!
