Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Possibly the worst title i've ever thought of for a wallpaper, but that's aside from the point. It's SE Lain #2 because there IS in fact a #1 SE Lain wall i've made, but it sucked so i'm never uploading it!
Wanted to try walling widescreen, and i did, and enjoyed it. Stupid boxy 1280x1024 >:( It's S.E. Lain (artwork was from Naimoka back when it wasn't eternally under construction) and it was basically playing with brushes and stock. Brushes are from here, here, and an extremely useful set of brushes simply known to me as "wallpaper" and "splatter" which came with no credits. *shurgs*.
damnit, i realized i just did all those URLs in HTML *goes and puts into BBcode -_-*
anywho. widescreen is cool, Lain is cool, and i think i'm gonna get to resizing the canvas so i can change my desktop and procastonating less on my part of Ramen's current challenge XD
the wall, its awesome. the composition is original and very fitting for this anime. Im not too sure about the abrupt change from blurry to ultra-almost-jaggy in certian spots. The typography on the top "serial experiments" bothers me a bit, seems kinda out of place, but the texture covers it up pretty well, together with everything else.
Lovely. I really like it. Been a while since I've seen a Lain wallpaper that wasn't completely bloody/cryptic/gothic looking. This one is quite lovely and is definitely going up on my screen. Thank you!
Nice and simple layout for a wallpaper ^^ I pretty much like it yup! ^-^ It's really simple and gives off that sort of calming mood x3 I really like the layout of the wallpaper, nice brushes and stock ^^
My favorite part of this wall is your microscopic signature which made me get the magnifying glass from the basement.. xp
the change of clean/blur/pixel/back is pretty interesting. and I'm glad you were able to pull off this type of wall that well, because, the first thing people think of with this kind of thing is a filmstrip..: :p old : Anyways, I like it
so +fav ne?~
