Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
I suppose if it got past the mods they must have allowed it to pass as a wallpaper...It's a very nicely done vector, though personally I would have liked it better if you could see more of both characters, especially the one on the bottom...I kind of get the feeling that she's being pushed out of the picture by her higher aspect, which I suppose is the main focus of the piece but I think it would be a little more balanced because of it.

In answer to a couple of the questions/comments. I didn't crop the source before tracing, this was how it was found in the wild (google). It was done in Illustrator 11 with final background and resize done in Photoshop. It is simple because I prefer a clean and simple wallpaper. I don't usually work with scans as most of my traces have been from screen caps. Thank you for your comments, they are much appreciated.
I'm a big fan of Peorth myself and I love this vector. I'm also a big fan of nice, smooth, clean and simple papers as you can see in the few I've submitted :P To whomever asked, I believe Peorth is just a fellow goddess (haven't read the manga in ages) and is of no real relation to Beldandy.
Its a nice vector. I wish you'd done the whole thing. Although, then you couldnt have submitted it as a wallpaper huh? The dimensions would be all off.
This is your 2nd vector rite? I got to admit, the vectors are really detailed and well done, kudos to you lolx... anyway, maybe you can make a duble vectored wallpaper of this scan, 1 for each character since so many people likes Peorth ^.^
