Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Here is a wall that I quite literally threw together. A series of screenshots...
I titled it the way I did (partita is a German suite, and quodlibet is a lighthearted arrangement of popular Baroque songs) because the way I constructed this wall was like a musical imrovisation...the organized structure of the partita and contrapuntal textures of the quodlibet against an improvised wall...
on a side note...japanese schoolgirls have very short skirts...or at least in animes, but not in real life...damn, just when i thought my life hit rock bottom...
This wall has got something intruguing, attracting, though I can't say what. Good retro-bg, nicely cleaned screencaps etc. Nice touch on the different-sized rectangles and I also the 'origin' of the wall, which you described. And, um, I like the texture-less version even more.
Awesome! love the concept and the one with textures is by far the better of the two! i think i might've done something else with the bg but overall you did a really good job. love it! :)
I'm not liking anything that's been overlayed on the four boxes (the fu-ri-ku-ri or the odd crackle border) but i love the concept and i think it was well-executed.

I really like this, mainly because itz just such a darn cool idea! :3
I like how you've got her in fragments, and how, when you look close, those fragments actually tell a tale of her movement in the scene.
Very very nice, I like this. textured one is definitely better. the text doesn't bother me nearly as much as those.. crack stuff as shinin' said. but ..LoL how wacky this wall is. it just looks so weird having this as desktop x3

Fav for this, keep up the good work ;d

Brilliant concept ^_o
You chose a really good way to express your background as well. Thank God you did not overdo it ^^

I've seen a few walls using this same design lately; becoming sort of ciche. You pull off the concept rather smoothly though. Simple yet effective.
